Jennifer is an American author, editor, and book reviewer currently living in England. She is a member of The British Fantasy Society and The Poetry Society, and is currently workshopping her poetry on Scribophile.
Jennifer is an avid reader of romance and speculative fiction, with an emphasis on the fantasy genre. She especially loves urban fantasy, sword & sorcery, and romantasy, but will read anything, especially if it blends genres.
Some of her favorite authors are Aliette de Bodard, Erin Hahn, Jessie Mihalik, V. E. Schwab, Elle Kennedy, Sofie Kelly, Ilona Andrews, Gareth L. Powell, Alechia Dow, Grace Burrowes, Seanan McGuire, John Scalzi, Piper Rayne, Martha Wells, Naomi Novik, Sawyer Bennett, Kevin Hearne, Julia Quinn, TJ Klune, Becky Chambers, Olivia Waite, and Sarah Adams.
She has been a fiction editor and book reviewer at several magazines, and loves hearing about author signings and pre-order specials for books she reviews. She is an avid reader and shares her book reviews on this blog and social media. Most of her advance reader copies are obtained through NetGalley.
As of 2025, she tracks and reviews all the books she’s reading on Storygraph.
